Randhir Khare

He is a national and international award-winning writer, poet, teacher and artist who has been guiding and mentoring writers, visual artists and performance artists of all ages for a number of decades. He has helped them write and publish books, create and display visual art and nurture their love for dramatic performance.

As a self-development guide he has helped parents, teachers and children/young people to use uniquely developed creative self-expression techniques to rediscover and empower themselves. He has led educational institutions and has been a performance coach for several school leaders in the city. Sixty five schools in New Delhi, thirty schools in Mumbai, twenty schools in Pune and numerous schools in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and other states in the country have benefited from his specialised creative workshops and event curation. Among the prestigious institutions that he has collaborated with - there is INTACH, National Gallery Of Modern Art, Prithvi Theatre, National Centre For Performing Arts, National Institute of Design, The National Defence Acedemy and others.

Publications

He has published 35 books of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, translations and educational handbooks, has had 7 solo exhibitions of his art, written/produced/directed/performed in numerous stage shows and is a well-known folklorist and story-teller. He has produced and directed a video-film titled THE WORLD IN A STORY. His wide-ranging creative workshops, guidance sessions and custom designed programmes have been used in schools, professional/corporate spaces and with non-formal interactive groups in various parts of the country. A.R.Rahman has set his poetry to music.
