I do not know.
We live together
We say we are one

Yet we hunt each other
In search of food
More than the other
For softer nights
And dreams of power & blood

We make movies of heaven
And show our children
Cartoons
Worlds of pink and blue
Dancing in our heads
And in America
A few years more

Before this cloud of cotton candy
Melts upon our tongues
In the bitter bile of war
And childish rage & greed
We can't control
But merely hide
Behind our posters
Of lies and blood

We don't deserve
A heaven here
We've chosen to sink in lead
Rejecting the hand to raise us
Out of this pool of red

We cannot swim
We've lost all hope
We're waiting to turn to bullets
While the laughter of weapons
Ring in the air
As the living turn to dead

Posters preach of a shining sun
And hope keeps the future alive
While we murder each other in the name of god
And our heroes enjoy their Ferraris.
